"God" is not a name it is a title. God has many Names and Titles (depending on how He manifests and interacts with us on this level), but the knowledge of the Personal Name of the ONE GOD is the greatest knowledge that you can possess, because This Name is The Key that reveals your True Identity!
YAHWEH is the Personal Name of Our Father-The Most High. YAHWEH is The Self Existent One. YAHWEH is The Infinite One Who exists beyond all time. YAHWEH Was, Is, and Will Be! YAHWEH is The Alpha and The Omega!
With The Name of YAHWEH was Moses able to part the waters of the Red Sea. With The Name of YAHWEH was Yahshua' able to still the wind, and rid the body of sickness, and suffering. With The Name of Yahweh was Elijah able to rain fire down from the Heavens.
Yahweh consists of the four Hebrew consonants Yod, Heh, Vav, and Heh.
By transcribing the Personal Name of God vertically the result is an anthropomorphic representation: head, chest and arms, torso, and lower extremities. This is profound! God has given us a significant clue - using His Personal Name - and it all points to the Divinity of Man! God wants us to know who we are by knowing Who He is.It is taboo among Jews to pronounce The Holy Name of YAHWEH. In most copies of the Tanakh, or Hebrew Bible, The Holy Name is left unvowelled to avoid pronouncing It.
In an attempt to conceal the true pronunciation of The Holy Name, Jewish scribes affixed to It the vowel points of the Name ADONAI - which means, "Lord." When reciting the Torah the Jews pronounce The Holy Name of YAHWEH as if it is spelled A-do-nai. From this attempt to conceal The Holy Name came the erroneous pronunciation of "Jehovah."
Yahshua' caused quite a stir in His day by publicly invoking The Holy Name of YAHWEH. Yahshua' (Whose name literally means, "YAHWEH is Salvation") never invoked His FATHER by "Jehovah," or "LORD." Yahshua' (The Holy Son Who came in The Name of THE HOLY FATHER - John 5:43, John 12:13) proclaimed The Holy Name of YAHWEH (John 17:6, 26).
The Name of YAHWEH appears over 6,000 times throughout the Hebrew Bible. The only Book in which The Name of YAHWEH does not explicitly appear is the Book of Esther. In the Book of Esther, The Name of YAHWEH appears as the initial letters of the words, "Yabo' Hamelek Vehaman Hayowm." This phrase rendered in English: "...let the king and Haman come today..." is found in Esther 5:4. This signifies that YAHWEH is ever-present in our affairs whether we bother to notice or not.
"O'Yahweh, Our Lord, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth!" (Psalms 8:9)
